Introductory materials
The Financial Stability Board created the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) to improve and increase reporting of climate-related financial information.

Workshops in a Box is a set of five presentations for use in introductory workshops on the TCFD recommendations to help support adoption and implementation. The first workshop presentation provides an introduction to the TCFD and an overview of the four TCFD recommendations for climate-related financial disclosure. The remaining four workshop presentations provide more details on each of the TCFD recommendations, including example disclosures.

Recommendations
The 2017 TCFD recommendations report outlines the TCFD framework for reporting climate-related financial information.

Implementation guidance
The 2021 TCFD “Annex” updates and supersedes the 2017 version of Implementing the Recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures. It provides both general and sector-specific guidance on implementing the Task Force’s disclosure recommendations. Updates reflect the evolution of disclosure practices, approaches, and user needs.

The Metrics, Targets, and Transition Plans guidance describes recent developments around climate-related metrics and users’ increasing focus on information describing organizations’ plans for transitioning to a low-carbon economy. The guidance also describes a set of cross-industry, climate-related metric categories that the Task Force believes all organizations can disclose.

This 2020 guidance is intended to assist non-financial companies interested in using climate-related scenarios as part of their efforts to implement the Task Force’s recommendations. The scenario analysis guidance provides practical, process-oriented ways for companies to use climate-related scenario analysis and ideas for disclosing the resilience of their strategies to different climate-related scenarios.
